Exploring mixed media as a surface, I investigated how media could become three-dimensional and differentiate from its original 2-D form. Initial research of collaging and layers, experimenting with paper, developed to incorporate a wide range of textile materials and techniques to create my final outcome, embodying mixed media surfaces.
